This privacy policy applies to the Oogooo - Plates Numbers app, also shown on the Home screen as Oogooo. The app is provided by Oogooo - Plates Numbers Developer as a free utility for managing cars and license plates.

Cars, plates, notes, prices, tags, photos, and language settings are stored locally on your device. The app does not require an account, does not offer subscriptions or in-app purchases, and does not sell personal data.

If you choose to add photos, the app uses the iOS photo picker with your permission. The app does not use the camera. Photos are compressed and stored locally for your collection. Photo access is only used for the item you choose to create or edit.

All AI features are optional and blocked until you accept one in-app AI data sharing notice. Before any AI Estimate or AI Chat network request is made, the consent screen explains the data, recipients, and purposes for both AI features.

When you use AI Estimate after consenting, the app may send item attributes and optional photo content as image data to Oogooo-Plates-API, a third-party AI estimate service hosted on Railway at oogooo-plates-api-production.up.railway.app. This data is used only to generate car and license-plate price estimates, low-high ranges, and short reasoning. Request bodies are not logged for routine service logs.

When you use AI Chat after consenting, the app sends the text of each user message, a chat_id created when the chat session starts, and a fixed system_prompt about cars and license plates to OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app.

The purpose is only to generate car and license-plate chat responses, listing help, collection notes, and recommendations. The app does not automatically send car records, plate records, photos, prices, contacts, or local collection data to the AI Chat service unless you type that information into a chat message.

OpenRouter Chat proxy acts as a third-party service provider/processor for the AI Chat feature and is expected to protect submitted data under the same or equivalent confidentiality and security commitments described in this Privacy Policy. AI Chat conversation history may be retained server-side by the AI Chat service using chat_id for conversation continuity.

You can revoke AI data sharing in Settings. Revocation resets the local chat session, removes the local chat_id, and blocks all future AI Estimate and AI Chat requests unless you consent again.

If you use the feedback form on this site, the information you submit is used only to respond to your request and improve the app.

The app may communicate with Oogooo-Plates-API on Railway for optional AI Estimate after consent, and with OpenRouter Chat proxy on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app for optional AI Chat after the same explicit AI consent. The public privacy policy and feedback pages are hosted by Vercel. These providers process data as service providers and are not permitted to use it for unrelated advertising or tracking purposes.

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Local collection data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. You may also export or import backup JSON from device-local data when available. AI Chat conversation continuity may be retained server-side by the AI Chat service using chat_id as described above. The app uses standard iOS storage and transport protections. AI requests are sent over HTTPS. No authentication token or account identity is required for AI requests.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
